This privacy policy describes how Missia collects, uses and protects the personal data of users of its website (missia.care), including during pre-orders and newsletter sign-up, as well as users of its Initio application (the app used to install and set up Missia devices). We are committed to processing your data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – EU Regulation 2016/679) and applicable data protection laws.

1. Data controller

The data controller is NEURAL VISION, a simplified joint-stock company (SAS) with a share capital of €16,000, registered with the Ajaccio Trade and Companies Register under number 953 237 690 (head-office SIRET: 953 237 690 00011), intra-EU VAT number FR16953237690, whose registered office is located at 2 Bd Charles Bonaparte, 20090 Ajaccio, France, and which operates the missia.care website and the Initio application (Missia brand).

2. Data we collect

a) On missia.care

  • Contact form: last name, first name, email address, message and request type.
  • Newsletter / early access: email address.
  • Pre-orders and orders: name, first name, contact details, delivery/billing address and order data. Payments are handled by our secure payment provider; Missia does not store your card numbers.
  • Technical browsing data strictly necessary for the operation of the website.

b) In the Initio application

  • Installer technician identification and login data (username, email).
  • Installation data: information about the premises, photographs taken during installation (e.g. doors, locations) and device configuration settings.
  • Technical hardware identifiers required for setup and provisioning.

Initio is a professional tool intended for technicians; it does not collect patient health data.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Responding to contact requests — legal basis: consent and/or legitimate interest.
  • Managing newsletter and early-access sign-ups — legal basis: consent.
  • Processing and tracking pre-orders and orders — legal basis: performance of the contract.
  • Enabling technician authentication and equipment installation — legal basis: performance of the contract and legitimate interest.
  • Ensuring the security, maintenance and improvement of our services — legal basis: legitimate interest.
  • Complying with our legal and accounting obligations — legal basis: legal obligation.

4. Recipients and processors

Your data is intended solely for authorised Missia teams. We rely on technical processors providing GDPR-compliant safeguards, in particular: web hosting (Vercel), transactional email delivery (Resend) and payment processing (Stripe). Your data is never sold to third parties.

5. Transfers outside the European Union

Where some data may be processed outside the European Union by our providers, such transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards (European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms).

6. Retention period

Data is kept only for as long as necessary for the purposes pursued: contact requests for the time needed to handle them; order data according to legal accounting periods; account and installation data for the duration of the contractual relationship. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link included in every email.

7. Security

Missia implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. Data exchanges are encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of your data, as well as the right to give instructions regarding its fate after your death. You may exercise these rights by writing to contact@missia.care. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in France, the CNIL – www.cnil.fr).

9. Cookies

The website only uses cookies strictly necessary for its proper operation. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are placed without your prior consent.

10. Changes

This policy may be amended at any time to reflect legal developments or changes to our services. The date of the last update is shown below.
